Introduction

This series of decorative mesh employs a unique weaving technique, using stainless steel as the primary material. In this approach, straightened stainless steel rods and stainless steel cables are combined in precise proportions to create an artistic wire mesh integrating both SS wires and SS cables. This distinctive product is known as architectural decorative cable mesh.

The flexibility of the stainless steel rope used in the METART-WWD series offers numerous advantages. This one-way-flexible architectural product can be easily manipulated by users or fabricators to achieve the desired shape and form, enabling the creation of unique and eye-catching design features.

One notable example within the METART-WWD series is the METART-WWD03, the most cost-effective choice for use as a screen or curtain wall infill panel material. It features an optimal combination of 1.5mm diameter stainless steel rods and groups of four strands of 0.75mm stainless steel cables. These components are woven together in an aesthetically pleasing distribution pattern, resulting in a visually appealing and functional architectural decorative cable mesh product.

 

 

Architectural Applications - Interior and Exterior Decoration:


The 1.5mm diameter wire rod provides sufficient strength and rigidity for both interior and exterior architectural projects. Once tensioned, the cable stainless steel architectural wire screen can be employed for a variety of purposes, such as partition wall screens, shop shading screens, and staircase decorative screen infill materials, and it can be also used for facade screen infills. But other reinforced options, like 2mm rods or 3mm rods would be more suitable and recommended for an exterior building facade.


Industrial Applications:

How to choose the correct material?

SS201:

Although SS201 is a more economical option for interior use, it is not generally recommended due to its lower corrosion resistance compared to SS304 and SS316. However, if cost is a primary concern, SS201 can be produced upon request.
