Turkey and Syria are hurting after the region's deadliest earthquakes in almost a century. The initial 7.8-magnitude earthquake in southeast Turkey and northern Syria was followed by a 7.7-magnitude tremor.
The death toll in Turkey grew to over 20213, while the death toll in Syria surpassed 3500.
Our deepest condolence to those poor people who didn't survive. And we pray and hope for more survivors.
